Waste Hauler Permits
WEP’s Waste Hauler Control Facility, located at the Metropolitan Syracuse Wastewater Treatment Plant, accepts wastewater from commercial waste haulers that transport waste from sources such as: holding tanks, portable toilets, and restaurant grease traps.
Waste Haulers must have:
- New York State Waste Transport Permit issued by the New York State Department of Conservation (NYSDEC)
- Onondaga County Waste Hauler Permit issued by WEP’s Regulatory and Technical Services Division.
