WEP responds to requests from residents and businesses experiencing issues with their public sewer service within the Consolidated Sanitary District (CSD). For City of Syracuse properties, call the City Dept of Public Works at 315-448-CITY (2489).
What to Expect
If you notice your pipes draining slowly or sewage backing up into your basement, call us immediately. Our team will respond quickly and begin an inspection of the public-side of the sewer system, usually through the sewer cleanout or vent pipe (mushroom cap) in your yard to the road and into the public sewer system. After the inspection, our team will diagnose the issue and determine the appropriate course of action.
