Administrative Order from Chief Administrative Judge Lawrence K. Marks

To include all new Civil case types that are not mandated:

  • CPLR Art. 70 proceedings
  • CPLR Art. 78 proceedings
  • Election Law proceedings
  • Emergency Medical treatment applications
  • Foreclosure actions addressing real property and mechanics liens
  • Matrimonial matters
  • Mental Hygiene law matters
  • Name change applications
  • RPTL 730 proceedings

Mandatory E-Filing
Effective January 21, 2014

Mandatory E-Filing is in effect in Onondaga County Supreme Court for ALL actions commenced on or after that date EXCEPT FOR:  

  • CPLR Article 78 Proceedings
  • CPLR Article 70 Proceedings (Habeas Corpus)
  • Foreclosure Actions
  • Election Law Proceedings
  • Election Law Proceedings
  • Emergency Medical Treatment Proceedings
  • Name Change Applications
  • Matrimonial Actions (Contested or Uncontested)
  • Small Claim Assessment Review (SCAR)
  • Mental Hygiene Proceedings (Retention, Treatment over objection and Article 81)
