Effective January 24, 2018

To include all new Civil case types that are not mandated:
- CPLR Art. 70 proceedings
- CPLR Art. 78 proceedings
- Election Law proceedings
- Emergency Medical treatment applications
- Foreclosure actions addressing real property and mechanics liens
- Matrimonial matters
- Mental Hygiene law matters
- Name change applications
- RPTL 730 proceedings
Mandatory E-Filing
Effective January 21, 2014
Mandatory E-Filing is in effect in Onondaga County Supreme Court for ALL actions commenced on or after that date EXCEPT FOR:
- CPLR Article 78 Proceedings
- CPLR Article 70 Proceedings (Habeas Corpus)
- Foreclosure Actions
- Election Law Proceedings
- Election Law Proceedings
- Emergency Medical Treatment Proceedings
- Name Change Applications
- Matrimonial Actions (Contested or Uncontested)
- Small Claim Assessment Review (SCAR)
- Mental Hygiene Proceedings (Retention, Treatment over objection and Article 81)
