Onondaga County

Onondaga County is grateful for our military Veterans because of their sacrifice and service to our country. We’d like to return the favor by offering a program that allows Veterans to receive special discounts or services from participating merchants and vendors in Central New York.

As part of the “Return the FAVOR” Discount Program (Find & Assist Vets of Record), eligible county residents will be issued a photo I.D. card by the Onondaga County Clerk’s office (or any Onondaga County Town Clerk’s Office). Any honorably discharged military Veteran residing in Onondaga County can get their FAVOR card by bringing their discharge or DD- 214 to the County Clerk’s Office located in the County Court House, 401 Montgomery Street Syracuse, NY 13202 or to their local Town Clerk’s Office.

Participating county merchants have agreed to honor the card by providing Veterans with a discount or special offer on purchases and services.
