Onondaga County

The Onondaga County Department of Emergency Communications (DEC) has started the mobile data replacement project. We have placed the order for the Sierra MP70 modems with United Radio and all have arrived. We have installed most of the police agencies and are working on finishing up EMS agencies. We are working on a tentative schedule for fire departments.

Other agencies are using the below listed tablets:

• Patrol PC
• Getac F110
• Dell Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme Tablet

The tablets will need a USB port.  If the tablet/computer doesn’t come with an Ethernet port you will need a USB to Ethernet adapter.
