OFA Nutrition Services Programs

OFA staff can help connect older adults with healthy meal options. Depending on eligibility, we can arrange meals at a local dining site or have nutritious meals delivered right to their home.

Food $en$e Program – Affordable Food Packages in Central New York:
The Food Sense Program helps individuals and older adults buy healthy, affordable food every month for only $20.50 per package.
No income limits – anyone can participate.
No order limits – purchase as many packages as you need.
Easy ordering – you can call or place an order online.
SNAP benefits accepted – if you still have SNAP (food stamp) benefits, you can use them to buy Food Sense packages.
Order by November 10, 2025 – pick up your food the week of November 17, 2025. The full schedule is available on the Food $en$e website.

Weekly Distributions – Mobile Food Pantry & Fresh Foods
The Mobile Food Pantry & Fresh Foods Distribution offers a free box of food to anyone in Central New York who needs food assistance.
• Everyone is welcome – there are no income requirements to receive food.
• Each household may receive one box of food, while supplies last.
• The weekly distribution schedule is posted on the Food Bank of Central New York’s social media pages.
• For more information, call 315-437-1899 (Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)


Mobile Food Pantry: Provide pre-packed boxes filled with perishable food items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products and bread.

Provides free food assistance to residents in Syracuse, New York.
