Legislature Health and Human Services Committee Continues Public Hearing on How County Services Can Children and Teens
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Health & Human Services Committee of the County Legislature will continue its public hearing on county services provided to children and teens tonight at 6 p.m. at the Salt City Market Community Room at 484 S. Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13202.
Wednesday’s hearing was met with a full gallery in the legislative chambers as providers across sectors shared testimony.
“Thank you to the attorneys, advocates, doctors, educators and residents who came to the podium throughout Wednesday’s hearing to share your personal experiences, praises, and concerns about our current services and the environment of services for children and teens. We hear you and take your input wholeheartedly,” said Health and Human Services Chair Dan Romeo.
Residents and groups may also submit public comments by attending a meeting in-person or sending comments to legislature@onondaga.gov. Public comments received via email and letter must be received by 11:59 p.m. on May 14.
