Steps to Apply for Food Truck Permits
In accordance with New York State Code 105.5.34 regarding mobile food preparation vehicles, an operating permit is required for all mobile food preparation vehicles.
To ensure timely review, applications must be submitted at least 14 days before the event you plan to attend. Permits must be issued in the year 2026, and once you receive a 2026 permit, it is valid until December 31, 2026. Once our department receives your application, we will review it and return it to you as soon as possible with either an approval or any required corrections.

Food Truck Application
