Chairman Burtis called the 9:15 a.m. public hearing to order at 9:21 a.m.

Chairman Burtis: Good morning everybody, thank you for being here, appreciate it. If everybody is ready, I would like to call the hearing to order. This is the 2020-2021 OCC Budget. Like to call the hearing to order and ask the Clerk to call the roll.

Clerk Maturo: Chairman Burtis, Mr. May, Mrs. Ervin, Mr. Rowley, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Jordan, and Mr. Williams. Clerk Maturo stated: I am going to call the remainder of Legislators for the record: Mrs. Tassone, Ms. Cody, Mrs. Abbott-Kenan, Ms. Kuhn, Dr. Chase, Mr. Holmquist, Mr. McBride, Mr. Bush, Mr. Kinne, and Chairman Knapp.

Chairman Burtis: Will the Clerk read the notice of the public hearing?

Clerk Maturo: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held by the Onondaga County Legislature on the tentative budget of the Onondaga Community College for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of September, 2020 and ending on the 31st day of August, 2021.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 220.1, issued on March 12, 2020 suspending the Open Meeting Law, the public hearing will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 9: 15 a.m. Members of the public wishing to attend may do so by downloading the Zoom application and using Meeting ID: 862 1991 0218 and Password: 1 N3DMy. Written statements should be submitted via email to DebbieMaturo@ongov.net or via USPS mail to Onondaga County Legislature, 401 Montgomery Street, Court House Room 407, Syracuse, NY 13202. Statements will be accepted up to 8:00 a.m. on May 27, 2020, and will become part of the permanent record.

Chairman Burtis: Was the Notice duly published?

Clerk Maturo: It was.

Chairman Burtis: I would like to ask if there were any written statements received for the record?

Clerk Maturo: I have not received any written statements for the record.

Chairman Burtis: I would like to ask if there are there any speakers wishing to be heard? If so,
announce yourself and spell your name. Any speakers? I can wait, any speakers at all for the public hearing? Hearing none, I believe I am set to have the public hearing adjourned. Is that correct?

Clerk Maturo: That is correct.

Chairman Burtis: I will adjourn the public hearing. Adjourned at 9:25 a.m. Thank you all for
coming.
