Opioid Settlement Funds

Helping Our Community Heal

Onondaga County joined communities across New York and the nation to hold drug manufacturers accountable for the harm caused by the opioid crisis.

Because of that effort, Onondaga County now receives opioid settlement funds to support prevention, treatment, and recovery for people and families affected by addiction.

To promote transparency and accountability, New York State requires counties and other local governments that get these funds to share how the money is spent each year.
