The Healthy Families Division supports pregnant individuals, parents, young children, and newly arrived refugee and immigrant families across Onondaga County through free, voluntary home visiting and family health services. Staff provide education on pregnancy, parenting, and child development, while connecting families to healthcare, essential nutrition programs, and community resources.

Healthy Families delivers services through integrated programs, including:

  • Syracuse Healthy Start
  • Women Infants and Children
  • Public Health Nursing
  • Perinatal and Infant Community Health Collaboratives
  • Refugee and Immigrant Health Hub

Through these programs, Healthy Families works to strengthen families, promote health equity, and ensure that every child and every newcomer in our community has the best possible start in life.
