{"id":7,"date":"2021-04-09T18:59:07","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T18:59:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/onondaga.gov\/environment\/onondagalakebeachstudy\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T15:43:03","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T20:43:03","slug":"onondagalakebeachstudy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/onondaga.gov\/environment\/onondagalakebeachstudy\/","title":{"rendered":"Onondaga Lake Beach Study"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/onondaga.gov\/environment\/beach-study-documents\/\">Beach Feasibility Study and Design Documents, Presentations and Renderings<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On December 13, 2017, Onondaga County was awarded a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) grant through the New York State Department of State (NYSDOS) Regional Economic Development Council for the purpose of conducting a beach feasibility study for Onondaga Lake\u2019s northeastern shoreline.&nbsp; Through a Request for Proposals process, Barton and Loguidice was selected, along with their team including Anchor QEA and EcoLogic, to complete the beach feasibility study, economic\/market analysis and final design documents for the recommended beach alternative. The Onondaga County Capital Improvement Plan 2017-2022 includes $300,000 for Beach Development at Onondaga Lake Park, and this State grant will fulfill this proposed project work through a feasibility study and final design documents.
