This position involves responsibility for managing, planning, training and exercise projects for the Onondaga County Department of Emergency Management. Work includes coordinating with stakeholders for development of emergency response and preparedness plans and development of training and exercise programs as well as analyzing data to allow for informed planning and decision-making.
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the department’s emergency management initiatives and managing projects as they relate to emergency management, including the management and organization of the county’s emergency operations center. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Commissioner of Emergency Management.

Salary:
The salary for this position will range from $78,580 – $86,817.
