Onondaga County Announces Options for Residents Who Have Not Received Their Tax Bill

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – County officials have been made aware that some members of the community have not yet received their county tax bill. While all county tax bills were mailed by January 5th, if you are someone who has not yet received their county tax bill, you have several options to obtain a copy.

Tax bills can be accessed and printed online by visiting https://onondaga.gov/rpts/. In addition, residents may contact the Onondaga County Real Property Tax Office at 315-435-2426 to request that a copy of their bill be emailed or printed.

County officials remind taxpayers that a printed tax bill is not required to make payment at their local tax collector’s office.

Tax bills must be postmarked or physically received by February 2, 2026. Please be advised that the United Postal States Postal Service just recently changed its postmark process. Postmark dates may not always be the date mail was dropped off in a mailbox or post office counter it will be the date first processed by an automated USPS sorting machine. Residents can also pay their tax bill online by visiting https://onondaga.gov/rpts/.
