The ACT for Youth initiative is a project of the New York State Department of Health, and was developed in cooperation with the Partners for Children, a collaboration of public and private sector organizations committed to improving the health and education of children and adolescents throughout New York State<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/article>\n\t\t<article  class=\"c-accordion__row\">\n\t\t<h3>\n\t\t<button  class=\"c-accordion__header h5\"\t\t\taria-controls=\"accordion-content-6a4f049b4dfc2\" id=\"accordion-header-6a4f049b4dfc3\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span  class=\"c-accordion__header-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Activism 2000 Project\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t<div  class=\"c-accordion__content\"\t\t\tid=\"accordion-content-6a4f049b4dfc2\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-header-6a4f049b4dfc3\" hidden=\"true\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t<div  class=\"c-accordion__content-container s-sink\"\t\t\t\tdata-depth=\"0\" data-autop=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youthactivism.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Activism 2000 project<\/a>, headed by Wendy Lesko, was founded in 1992 as a private, non-partisan organization to encourage young people to speak up and pursue lasting solutions to problems they care deeply about. The site offers many valuable resources for youth and adults, including the Maximum Youth Involvement Toolkit and The 26% Solution (written for Youth).<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/article>\n\t\t<article  class=\"c-accordion__row\">\n\t\t<h3>\n\t\t<button  class=\"c-accordion__header h5\"\t\t\taria-controls=\"accordion-content-6a4f049b4dfc4\" id=\"accordion-header-6a4f049b4dfc5\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span  class=\"c-accordion__header-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tCommunities That Care: Development Research Ans Programs, Inc.\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t<div  class=\"c-accordion__content\"\t\t\tid=\"accordion-content-6a4f049b4dfc4\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-header-6a4f049b4dfc5\" hidden=\"true\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t<div  class=\"c-accordion__content-container s-sink\"\t\t\t\tdata-depth=\"0\" data-autop=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.preventionscience.com\/ctc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Communities that Care (CTC)<\/a> is a prevention planning system that helps communities develop an integrated approach to promoting the positive youth development of children and youth and to preventing problem behaviors, including substance abuse, delinquency, teen pregnancy, school dropout, and violence. Originally developed by Richard Catalano and David Hawkins, information and training regarding CTC is administered by the Channing Bete Company.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/article>\n\t\t<article  class=\"c-accordion__row\">\n\t\t<h3>\n\t\t<button  class=\"c-accordion__header h5\"\t\t\taria-controls=\"accordion-content-6a4f049b4dfc6\" id=\"accordion-header-6a4f049b4dfc7\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span  class=\"c-accordion__header-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tFUND for the City of New York\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t<div  class=\"c-accordion__content\"\t\t\tid=\"accordion-content-6a4f049b4dfc6\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-header-6a4f049b4dfc7\" hidden=\"true\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t<div  class=\"c-accordion__content-container s-sink\"\t\t\t\tdata-depth=\"0\" data-autop=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcny.org\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Fund for the City of New York<\/a> is a private operating foundation launched by the Ford Foundation in 1968 with the mandate to improve the quality of life for all New Yorkers. The Innovation Center\u2019s network of youth and adult staff and partners seek, test, and promote innovative concepts and practices, providing cutting edge tools for youth workers in diverse setting.
